Hi All.
I just read this article in the National Association of Realtors newsletter. I agree with the Realtors on this one that an inspectors reputation, of which expertise and thoroughness, is key to referring them to customers. Realtors sometimes get a bad rap when they refer a Home Inspector. There are many opinions floating around the internet and even in print suggesting that Realtors only refer inspectors that benefit the Realtor. Although there may be those rascals out there, from my experience they are far out numbered by honest Realtors looking out for their clients best interest. When I receive a referral from a Realtor and the clients are ecstatic with my performance I ask they thank the Realtor; after all, I’m just doing my job.

This string is open. I’m interested in hearing your views and any experiences you’ve had following a Realtor’s referral for a Home Inspection in the past.
